is a Ukrainian-Polish singer, muliti-instrumentalist, composer, arranger, actress, essayist, teacher. She works mainly in Germany, Poland and Ukraine. Roksana sings in 10 languages; she plays piano, Ukrainian folk and electronic instruments. She composes and arranges music of various styles (classical, folk, jazz). Roksana has released over 20 albums, including solo albums. The MIZRAH CD was recorded thanks to the award received from Czesław Niemen at the “Nowa tradycja” competition in Warsaw; it was released by the JazzForum magazine (2002).
She performs her own concert programmes. She is the author and co-author of music for theatre plays. She directed, among others, the play ” It was so peaceful, so serene… calamity again! Red Famine”, based on Anne Applebaum’s book “Red Famine”, as well as composing the music for this play. Premieres in Polish and German took place in Warsaw (2018) and Berlin (2019).
Roksana is the author of the relaxation programme “Energetic Kammerton”. She created her own system of knowledge transfer in the field of general music education “RoksaNAVI”.
Currently, she cooperates with the Polish Theatre in Wrocław. Together with a German multi-instrumentalist Wolfram Spyra (DER Spyra) they form a duet “Moon&Melody” and run the picture and sound gallery “WorldWideWindow” (Frankfurt/Oder). Roksana runs a column “Korale” in the Ukrainian newspaper “Nasze Słowo” (Warsaw).
