COMPOSITION. SOUNDSCAPES

You will learn how to compose your own melodies, compose music to your favourite texts or poems.  You will also learn how to create pure instrumental compositions, using piano or electronic sounds.*

We will also experiment in different ways.

Any painting, be it a famous work of art or a photograph; a view from a window, an object or any text or film, all these can be “described”, played and sung with sounds, for

ABSOLUTELY ANYTHING CAN SOUND!

But the most exciting thing is to create music stories based on personally recorded material.

Sound recordings of life around us (in the park, in the shop, on the street, etc.) serve as inspiration for creating unique sounds.

We will learn how to listen to the world as artists. We will experience how surprising it can be to discover completely new, different sides of sounds that seem familiar to us.

*In this case, knowledge of the musical instrument used would be essential.
